A principal in DSG’s Boston office, Jennifer Manley melds experience in the public sector, a journalistic understanding of what matters in communities, and a depth of political experience that makes her well versed in public policy.
Her most recent role was Director of Public Health Strategy and Communication for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where she handled all media requests and oversaw all communications activities for more than 100 different programs including infectious diseases, environmental health and prevention efforts.
Jennifer was an Account Supervisor at Solomon McCown & Company, where her clients included the state Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, the Massachusetts Quality and Cost Council and the Massachusetts Hospital Association. She has also worked as Grassroots Coordinator for the Hospital Association, helping to build support for emerging healthcare public policy and health initiatives.
Jennifer was also an anchor, reporter and producer for the ABC TV affiliate in Bangor, Maine, and was assigned to cover the Maine State House. In this capacity she won three Associated Press awards.
Her political experience includes consulting on many campaigns throughout New England. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and her master’s in broadcast journalism from Emerson College and also studied political theory at the Regent’s College, London, England.
