Claire Cullis


Claire Cullis is a Senior Associate in the Dewey Square Group's California practice. Cullis serves as the Deputy Program Director for The California Governor and First Lady's Conference on Women (The Women's Conference). Since joining the Dewey Square Group in 2006, Cullis has focused on a wide-range of issues from women's empowerment to green technology.

Prior to joining the Dewey Square Group, Cullis worked for the Japanese Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) through the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) in Oshima-cho, Japan. While in Japan, Cullis helped promote grassroots internationalization and enhanced relationships between the United States and Japan.

During the 2004 Presidential Election, Cullis served as a national advance team member for the Kerry/Edwards campaign coordinating campaign events, community outreach, and national and local press operations.

Cullis is a graduate of the University of Iowa. During her undergraduate, Cullis studied in Salzburg, Austria and Stellenbosch, South Africa. In South Africa, she was active in international development serving as a South African township tutor coordinator in the Xhosa Township Kayamandi.
