Johanson Receives Heather Award from Midwest Academy

The Midwest Academy honored Karin Johanson, a principal at DSG, with a Heather Award at its annual Midwest Academy Dinner held at the Hilton Washington last night. Established in 2004, the Heather Award is an annual honor bestowed upon a woman organizer who embraces the values and vision of the Midwest Academy and Heather Booth, a longtime civil and women's rights activist.
