DSG Welcomes Courtney Cohen
DSG welcomes Courtney Cohen today, who joins us as an associate after spending the past three years at ABC's This Week. Courtney assisted This Week host George Stephanopoulos throughout the 2008 campaign cycle and served as a production coordinator for the weekly program. Prior to joining ABC, Ms. Cohen worked as a senior assistant at the United Talent Agency in Beverly Hills, CA. She is a graduate of American University in Washington DC and is originally from Los Angeles.
Scott Simon of NPR hits 1 million Twitter Followers
The news this week from Scott Simon of National Public Radio says he became the first public broadcasting personality to reach 1 million followers on Twitter. Good news for Simon and NPR. That puts the "Weekend Edition" host just outside of the top 100 in tweetsville and got us to thinking about Twitter's top news personality (public or otherwise).
