By 1993, three friends from Boston were already veterans of several presidential and statewide campaigns.

From their experience in political campaigns, Chuck Campion, Charles Baker and Michael Whouley, the founding partners of the Dewey Square Group, developed an innovative concept: applying campaign-style strategies and tactics to private-sector challenges.

It is this approach that DSG has honed to help its clients negotiate some of the nation's most controversial and high-profile public policy issues.

Since its founding, DSG has built on its founding principle, adding the best and the brightest veterans from national and statewide campaigns, growing the firm to more than 80 employees with offices in six cities and becoming one of the country's leading public strategies firms.
