Janice Tatarka

Janice Tatarka serves as a principal in the Dewey Square Group’s Boston office and manages government relations, environmental policy and regulation, state permitting, project siting, and environmental impact compliance projects for a wide range of DSG clients.

Tatarka served more than 25 years in Massachusetts government.  She is a former Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and served as Chief of Staff for the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, where she oversaw job training programs and unemployment and workers compensation programs.  She also served for 10 years as Chief Financial Officer for the Massachusetts environmental agencies.

Tatarka is a graduate of Brown University and Suffolk University Law School.  She is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
