Jessie Lyons

Jessie Lyons is a principal with the Dewey Square Group (DSG). Prior to returning to DSG, Lyons served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for United States Senator Jeanne Shaheen. She has years of experience in political campaigns at the state and national level. Before working in the United States Senate, Lyons served as a Political Advisor to Jeanne Shaheen on her 2008 senate race. At DSG, Lyons focuses on strategic communications and grassroots campaigns, including work with major corporations, non-profit organizations, and trade associations. From 2006 to 2008 Lyons worked as a Senior Associate at DSG.

Previously Lyons worked in Washington, D.C. with CNN analyst and political strategist Paul Begala, managing his day-to-day operations. Lyons served as a liaison between Begala and various political organizations, including the Democratic National Committee, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Senate Leadership Office and various national news organizations.

During the 2004 general election campaign, Lyons worked as a national scheduler for Senator John Kerry on the Kerry/Edwards campaign, coordinating and implementing message and event vision with national advance teams, state, communications, and political directors. During the 2003 New Hampshire primary campaign, she served as the Director of Operations for the New Hampshire John Kerry for President Campaign.

In 2002, Lyons served as the Director of Operations for the U.S. Senate campaign of Senator Jeanne Shaheen.

She holds at BA in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
