Parisa Golkar
Parisa Golkar is a Principal with Dewey Square Group, concentrating on the development and management of strategic grassroots campaigns. Since joining Dewey Square in 1998, Golkar has concentrated on a wide range of national and state-level issues, including work with major corporations and trade associations.
Along with her work in public affairs, Golkar has held numerous positions at both the Democratic National Committee and in recent presidential campaigns. During the 2000 primary, she worked for the Gore 2000 campaign, serving as the national field desk for both Iowa and New Hampshire. In the general election, Golkar was Assistant to the Chief National Strategist at the Democratic National Committee in Washington, D.C., managing the daily operations of the office and acting as a contact between the DNC campaign division and the Gore/Lieberman campaign leadership.
In 2004, Golkar worked in Iowa for John Kerry for President, later returning to the DNC as Deputy to the General Election Director. During this time, she was responsible for coordinating DNC campaign leadership activities as well as serving as the chief liaison between the DNC staff and General Election Director.
