Lisa Yarid
Lisa Yarid is an associate at the Dewey Square Group’s Boston office in the state government practice. With more than 15 years of experience at the Massachusetts State House, Yarid brings extensive expertise on critical public policy issues, including deregulation of the electric utility industry, renewable portfolio standard program, gas utilities, siting, cable television and telephone and mobile issues and alternative energy.
Prior to joining Dewey Square Group, Yarid served as research director for the Massachusetts House Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy, guiding the research staff and providing counsel for the Committee for public hearings and negotiations. For eight years prior, Yarid served as research director for the Joint Committee on Energy, drafting and analyzing legislation.
Yarid began her work on the Joint Committee on Energy as a senior research analyst and in 1990 served as a legislative aide to the Chairman of Massachusetts Senate Energy Committee.
Yarid is a native of Methuen Massachusetts and serves as an appointed member of the Methuen Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee.
