Andrew J. Donelson

Andrew J. Donelson (A.J.) is Chief Operating Officer of the Dewey Square Group where he is responsible for day-to-day operations of the firm and he advises private sector clients on federal and state government relations and public affairs activities.

Donelson joined the Dewey Square Group in 2001 after five years of leading an independent public relations firm focused on government affairs and litigation communications consulting.

Prior to entering private consulting, Donelson was a Washington lobbyist and head of the Washington, D.C. government affairs office for 3M. As the company's top federal lobbyist, he advised the company's CEO and senior management on Congressional strategy, issues management, grassroots and trade association activities.

Donelson is an attorney and member of the District of Columbia Bar. He received his law degree from the University of Florida and his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University.
