Ryan Rauzon

Ryan Rauzon is a principal in the Dewey Square Group's strategic media relations practice in California and has more than 10 years of experience in journalism, publicity, message development, media training, public speaking, and crisis management.

Rauzon has worked as a journalist in California, Utah and Arizona; as a communications specialist based in Sacramento; and prior to joining DSG in 2009 served as a vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations. Rauzon’s extensive experience includes exceptional work increasing public awareness of financial, business, social and political issues.
 
Rauzon served as Deputy Press Secretary for Assembly Speakers Herb Wesson and Robert M. Hertzberg. He has also worked as a television producer and reporter at PACSAT, Inc., in Sacramento, and at NBC's affiliate stations in Flagstaff, Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. As a reporter, he received awards from the Radio and Television News Directors' Association, the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and the Society of Professional Journalists.
 
Rauzon is a current member of the American Association of Political Consultants and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in Political Science and Journalism.  Rauzon is bilingual in English and Spanish and is fluent working with traditional and new Web 2.0 media outlets.
