Since the Clinton Administration, Anu Rangappa has been involved in a variety of political activities from the White House to the campaign trail. A principal in the Communications practice of the Dewey Square Group, Anu has assisted in the creation and implementation of strategic plans for a number of political, non-profit, and corporate organizations.
During the 2004 presidential campaign, Anu worked on the Kerry/Edwards general election campaign assisting the senior staff on special projects. In 2002, she crafted campaign plans for gubernatorial candidates and federal races for primary and general elections. And in 2001, she worked with the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial campaigns on voter turnout activities and Election Day operations.
Prior to joining DSG, Anu was Manager of Special Projects for the Gore/Lieberman Presidential Campaign, working at the Iowa Caucuses, the Democratic National Convention, the Presidential Debates, Election Night 2000, and the Florida Re-Count. Beginning in 1996 and throughout the second Clinton Administration, she worked for the White House Office of Scheduling and Advance, traveling extensively around the U.S. and internationally, leading on-the-ground logistics for the White House Press Corps. In 1995, she served as a White House intern in the West Wing office of Presidential Scheduling.
Anu currently lives in Washington, D.C.
