Lisa Mushaw brings a unique perspective to the Dewey Square Group’s State and Local Affairs practice with more than a decade of experience in the public sector and the entertainment and food and beverage industries. Lisa integrates her knowledge of the private and public sectors to coordinate outreach campaigns and communications strategies with State and Local governments, elected officials, and national organizations. She also conducts third-party outreach and event management on behalf of DSG clients.
In 2001, she founded Millennium Tek, Inc., a company specializing in IT services, meeting management, event planning, and management consulting services to the federal government. During the second Clinton Administration, Lisa served at the White House Liaison Office for the US Department of Agriculture. She was quickly recognized for her ability to identify the needs of the advisory board and to restructure the vetting process within the USDA, ensuring timely nominations and appointments.
Lisa also launched Treasures of Tuscany: An Epicurean Voyage, a one-week vacation with a twist – a cooking program where participants are given extensive exposure to Italian cuisine while discovering the physical beauty and traditions that are uniquely Tuscan.
Lisa is a native of Reston, Virginia where she still resides.
