SACRAMENTO – March 24, 2016 – Dewey Square Group’s Sacramento office is the proud recipient of two 2016 CAPPIE Awards from the Sacramento Public Relations Association. DSG’s Social Innovation Practice is bringing home an award for its outstanding Unified Selfie Brigade campaign, which took social media by storm at the Special Olympic World Games in Los Angeles in 2015. DSG’s California Public Affairs Practice is being celebrated for its State of the Charge report introducing the Electric Vehicle Charging Association and its successful work to make California the nation’s leader in electric vehicle charging.

These awards add to the multiple national Grassroots, Education and Outreach awards won by the teams for their Be Covered community engagement campaign aimed at educating and engaging low-income families around the Affordable Care Act.
