With extensive experience in the public and private sectors, Andre’ Anderson Jr. is part of DSG’s State & Local Affairs and Multicultural Strategies team curating and implementing strategic communication campaigns through media relations, third-party outreach, and event management for clients. He has worked with members of local, state, and national government as well as civil rights activists, faith-based leaders, e-commerce retailers, and non-profit organizations.
Prior to rejoining the DSG team, Andre’ was based in Nashville, where he most recently worked on the Global Corporate Communications team at Amazon supporting the North America Field Communications Team and the Operations Internal Communications for the Americas through various media relations, strategic planning, and event management initiatives. Before joining Amazon, Andre’ served as chief of staff of a 30,000-member faith-based organization where he managed day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and third-party outreach and engagement. Early in Andre’s career, he worked as an associate at Dewey Square Group, administrative coordinator at United Medical Center in Ward 8 (DC), and as an operations director for Washington Linkage Group.
Andre’ serves as Board Vice Chair of The Equity Alliance, a Tennessee statewide, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that advocates for equitable opportunities and systems that improve the quality of life for Black and Brown communities by working with people to fully participate in civic processes and champion solutions to issues that affect their daily lives. He is also a founding Charter member and Ambassador for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
