Statement from the Dewey Square Group on this National Day of Mourning

Today hurts. For all of us. Last week we watched in great horror the murder of Mr. George Floyd. As a company, as people, we must speak out, demand action, and drive change at this moment. There is no other choice.

Every person has the right to live in a society where he or she will “not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

We at Dewey Square remain dedicated to bringing about the necessary change to help heal our wounds and help eradicate racism where it exists in our society. That has never been more important than it is today.

We stand with the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Dreasjon “Sean” Reed and too many other families and victims of police violence and racial injustice. Black Lives Matter.

We all must stand up for our country’s core values and work together to make urgently needed progress.
