Andre' Anderson Jr. is a strategic communications and public affairs strategist who counsels global brands, public institutions, and political leaders on navigating today's rapidly shifting cultural, media, and policy landscapes. As a Principal in the State & Local Affairs and Multicultural Strategies practice, he leads initiatives that help clients strengthen their reputation, expand influence, and build meaningful trust with diverse communities. Known for his ability to operate at the intersection of business, politics, and culture, Andre' designs integrated campaigns that mobilize stakeholders, shape public narratives, and deliver measurable impact. His strategic counsel is informed by experience working directly with members of Congress, governors, mayors, corporate C-suites, civil rights leaders, and national advocacy organizations.
Andre' played a pivotal role in one of the most consequential political moments of the decade, serving as Chief of Staff to the Chair of the 2024 Democratic National Convention. As part of the convention's senior leadership team, he helped oversee strategy and operations that led to the historic nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz.
Before returning to DSG, Andre' held communications roles within Amazon's Global Communications and Corporate Responsibility organization. There, he supported executive leadership across North America, driving field communications, internal strategy, and high-visibility engagement initiatives for one of the world's most influential companies. He previously served as Chief of Staff for a major 30,000-member, Nashville, TN, faith-based institution, where he led organizational operations, strategic planning, and multi-stakeholder partnerships. Earlier in his career, Andre' held roles across public affairs, healthcare operations, and community engagement sectors — providing experience that informs his holistic, people-first approach and his strength in bridging grassroots perspectives with enterprise-level strategy.
A committed civic and cultural leader, Andre' serves as Vice Chair of the Board for The Equity Alliance and is an active member of HRC's Federal Club and Q Street. He is a founding member of the forthcoming American LGBTQ+ Museum in New York City and a Charter Member and Ambassador of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture.
