As a Principal in the Dewey Square Group’s communication practice since 1997, Craig Sutherland has served a broad base of clients, including Fortune 100 companies and national trade organizations in the energy, pharmaceutical, banking, premium drinks, and economic development sectors.

Throughout Sutherland’s career, he has managed all aspects of media relations for his clients. His strengths are in the conception and implementation of strategic communications plans, as well as research-based message development. Sutherland specializes in both strategic free media tactics and paid media planning and implementation.

Sutherland began his professional career in advertising and marketing. Those experiences proved invaluable when promotional materials he brought to market were featured on the cover of Advertising Age. His talents were later called upon by the National Football League when he was asked to lead a training session in grassroots and media advocacy for the league’s Community Outreach Directors.

Sutherland is a native Texan and graduate of Texas A&M University. He has called Florida home for almost two decades.
