James Gilmore has been working with Dewey Digital in various capacities since 2008 as a researcher, analyst, and web and mobile app developer.

His current work is primarily in countering online disinformation as a senior researcher and analyst, the project lead for Dewey Digital’s social listening and analytics tools, and supervisor for research teams working to identify and combat disinformation on social media and on the web.

James holds a B.A. in English and communication from Calvin University, an M.A. in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park.
