A principal at Dewey Square Group in Boston, Mary Anne Marsh is a nationally recognized political analyst who provides strategic counsel for Fortune 100 companies, non-profits and political campaigns. An expert communicator, Mary Anne plans and executes unique public relations and crisis communications strategies for her clients using quantitative and political analysis to define the debate and deliver the most effective message to put every client in the position to be successful.

Prior to joining Dewey Square Group, Mary Anne was the senior vice-president of integrated services for FH/GPC, a Boston-based company. Throughout her career, she has advised national grassroots organizations regarding their public policy campaigns, and served in senior roles on the campaigns of Senator John Kerry, Senator Edward M. Kennedy, and Massachusetts State Treasurer Shannon O’Brien as well as a staff member for Kerry. She also directed the first, and most successful, coordinated campaign for the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Mary Anne is a Democratic political analyst on WCVB-Channel 5, WBZ-AM, BBC and Radio New Zealand. She also provides commentary and analysis to national and local media including The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Politico, AP, The Times of London and USA Today.

As the lead political analyst at WCVB-Channel 5, Mary Anne was part of two Emmy Award winning broadcasts for the coverage of Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s funeral in 2009 and the 2014 Election political coverage. Boston Magazine named her one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Boston. Mary Anne was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws by Wheaton College in 2014.
