Parisa has focused on the development and management of strategic grassroots campaigns, including work with major corporations and trade associations on both national and state-level public policy issues.

Parisa has held various positions on national campaigns, with prior experience including serving as field desk for Iowa and New Hampshire for the Gore 2000 campaign. From that position she went on to the Democratic National Committee where she was Assistant to the Chief Political Strategist in the general election. In 2004, Parisa returned to the DNC as Deputy to the General Election Director.

Parisa graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Government.
