As a Principal in Dewey Square Group’s grassroots practice, Jonathan Drobis applies his background in advocacy, strategic communications and politics to lead multi-state issue campaigns on behalf of companies, advocacy organizations and non-profits. Drobis works with DSG’s clients to achieve their objectives by applying the full range of campaign tools, from grassroots organizing and analytics to public opinion research and social media.

Prior to joining Dewey Square Group, his work spanned the spectrum of campaign and public affairs efforts across the country and on Capitol Hill. Drobis has managed a U.S. Senate race, worked on behalf of five presidential campaigns, and organized for congressional and mayoral campaigns. He also worked for the direct mail firm Ambrosino, Muir, Hansen & Crounse, where his clients included President Barack Obama; Alaska Senator Mark Begich and Governors Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Brian Schweitzer of Montana and John Lynch of New Hampshire. He previously served as a legislative aide to Congresswoman Doris Matsui of California.

Jonathan grew up in Washington, DC, where he now resides with his wife and two children.
